Queen's University Enrichment Mini-Courses Program
(http://www.queensu.ca/cds/emc)

The EMC program is a fun way to meet and interact with high school students from around the area (usually the southern Ontario area) while participating in courses not normally found in high school curricula. The students stay if University residences (if they do not live with day's driving distance of Kingston) and eat meals on campus for a week while attending fun after-class activities hosted by Queen's U volunteer staff and students, ranging from capture the flag to visiting the local sights and sounds. Oh yeah, it's smack dab in the middle of May, and since high schools are actively involved in recruiting students to go to the program, they'll let you out of classes easily. The program has a fee of $295, with an extra $120 for residence and food. Some school boards and schools may subsidize part or all of the cost.

To get more information on the program, click on the link to the official site above, or inquire of your school's special education/guidance department.
