    AnsibleMOO is a MOO dedicated to Battle School fans - or rather of Orson Scott Card's books Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow. The creators obtained Orson Scott Card's permission for it first.

    Situated on a rotating space station, the International Fleet trains future commanders - kids - in the art of war. The entire plot revolves around the battle room, where the kids, who are arranged in teams of 40 called armies, battle each other in a 3D null-gravity variant of laser tag.

    There are currently three automated battlerooms and an RP battleroom. However, just about anything else has to be role-played, from the classrooms to the showers, from the exercise gym to the meals.

    Not that it matters, however, as the RP is more or less all of the fun.

    Characters start off as launchies, and are promoted to armies after the MOO staff see that you're fit for role-playing on their space-precious station (space as in disk space, not the void).

    With the new server, maybe the AnsibleMOO server won't be down every other week like before.
