CONGRATULATIONS! Your support for the breakfast is commendable! We now have sufficient money to plan out two breakfasts - one for Friday, October 5, 2001, just before the Thanksgiving long weekend, and another for later in the year (maybe nearer to exams). We are now sitting to down to plan the breakfast: bagels, donut holes, cream cheese, and juice. Remember, the barbecue is Monday, so have your tickets ready when you go to the quad during period 3. - Your mentors, Shera Birnbaum, Erick Duan, Eric Hart and Jasper Yeh |

Mrs. Solheim, on her own with =NO= suggestion from us, has declared that everyone in the class must pay $2.00 for the breakfast, or she will not bring in any treats for the remainder of the semester. That means NO FUN. So please do bring in the money - we're already over halfway there! The combined sales of barbecue tickets in Ms. Bell's and Mrs. Solheim's classes is officially the most in the school. Congratulations! You are truly a spirited bunch. Unfortunately, there is no bonus for selling the most tickets, either for us or you :( - Your mentors, Shera Birnbaum, Erick Duan, Eric Hart and Jasper Yeh |

The Grade Nine Barbecue has been rescheduled for Monday, October 1, 2001 during period 3 (11:15 - 12:35) in the quad. Tickets are still $2.00 for pop and your choice of a hotdog, burger, or veggie burger. For you, this means that you will have a barbecue at the beginning of the week, and be treated to a breakfast at the end of the week :) The cut-off date for the barbecue money is Monday, September 24, 2001, because we need to know how much food and drink we need to prepare. We will collect money for both the barbecue and the breakfast on Tuesday the 18th, Friday the 21st, and Monday the 24th. - Your mentors, Shera Birnbaum, Erick Duan, Eric Hart and Jasper Yeh |

Your class breakfast has been scheduled for Friday, October 5, 2001. We are charging $2.00 per person to participate in this class breakfast. Remember, the more money we collect, the larger a breakfast we will throw, and if we get enough money, we could even throw another breakfast later in the year. We will be collecting money for this along with the money for the barbecue. - Your mentors, Shera Birnbaum, Erick Duan, Eric Hart and Jasper Yeh |

Welcome to Thornhill Secondary School. Things maybe a little hectic around here for the first week or so, but we mentors are always around. Look out for us with the yellow mentor button. Do not hesitate to ask us any questions about high school, or even to ask for directions - we were pretty much lost on the first day of school ourselves. Your mentors will be your class' guide to school life, events, and more. We (and the teachers and staff) are here to help make your transition to high school easier. - All the TSS Mentors |
